Father Walter Ciszek, a Polish-American Jesuit from Shenandoah Pennsylvania spent over two decades in Soviet prisons and camps. His story of survival and faith has captivated scores of people since his return from imprisonment in 1963.

We invite you to learn his story through the experiences of four amazing presenters. Through virtual presentations and small group discussions we will read and reflect on the book "He Leadeth Me," one of two written by Father Ciszek detailing his spiritual experiences.

Read more about our presenters below as we invite you to prayerfully discern participating in this life-changing spiritual event.

Limited copies of the book will be available in English, Polish, and Spanish at the Cathedral Rectory during office hours in Camden and at St. Joseph's Church after the 10AM Mass on Sundays.

St. Joseph’s Polish Apostolate is the successor to the former St. Joseph’s Polish Parish established in 1892 for Polish immigrants. Merged with the Cathedral Parish of the Immaculate Conception in 2017, the Apostolate spreads Polish traditions and heritage throughout the Diocese of Camden and beyond. Its activities are centered at its historic home of St. Joseph’s Church, a Nationally Registered Historic Place, located at 1010 Liberty Street in Camden, NJ.
